As just one of its projects, Leadership Lake Martin is trying to find out if the community would benefit from a consolidated food pantry.

In an effort to see if support for this endeavor is out there, Leadership is inviting representatives of existing independent food pantries to come together at 6 p.m. Thursday, May 8, to discuss pros and cons of consolidation.
