Along with thousands of other Americans, Glennie Ferniany safely evacuated Beirut a few days ago, much to the relief of her family, including grandparents Bill and Mary Ann Hardy of Alexander City.

“She is fine, and we’re not nearly as concerned,” Mary Ann said.
