In the 2007-2008 Benjamin Russell sports year, Bill Lutz coached the varsity girls basketball team, the junior varsity girls soccer team and wide receivers with the varsity football team.

When Lutz became head coach of Alexander City Middle School’s football team, he knew one responsibility had to go. So, this June, Lutz resigned from his position as the varsity girls basketball coach.
