Dr. David Lai addressed the Horizons Unlimited audience Monday with intimate knowledge of the United States policy and how Asian countries perceive it.

Lai, born in China, defected to the United States in 1989 in protest against the Chinese government’s suppression of the Chinese students in Tiananmen Square.
