During the summer months, Tallapoosa County is home to thousands tourists who flock to Lake Martin and other attractions throughout the area, and the number of visitors has increased in the past several years.

According to Greg Womble, public relations and marketing manager for AAA Alabama, those traveling in Tallapoosa County will pay less for their vacation.
