Sun Fest will soon return starting next Thrusday, kicking it off with a cocktail competition and later that weekend Tykes in Trucks.

The Sun Festival is back in town, and they have new events for Alexander City.

Alexander City Chamber of Commerce vice president of special events and sponsorship Kim Dunn said the cocktail competition, bed races, canvas and cocktails are some of the new additions.
