From wedding receptions to art shows to regular restaurant gigs, Tommy Gassaway has played at all kinds of events, although he’s better known by his stage name Tommy G.

This coming Thursday, Gassaway is performing a concert lecture at the Dadeville Performing Arts Center. As a saxophone player, most describe Gassaway’s music as smooth jazz, but he does much more than that.
