Type “ADHD test” into a search bar and millions of results likely appear in under a second, many promising an answer in just a few minutes. It's easy to see the appeal of taking an online test: a few questions, a few minutes, and the guarantee of an answer. But here's the catch: Most people who screen positive on a widely used ADHD self-screening tool (called ASRS) do not turn out to have ADHD after a full evaluation.
