When Remington decided to begin production on its new R-51 Pistol, the handgun would have to be put together piece by piece, and one of those pieces is designed right here in Alexander City.
America’s oldest gunmaker, Remington Arms, is set to show off its new R-51 Pistol at Shot Show 2014 in Las Vegas this week, and Latva South, Inc. of Alexander City produces a crucial part of the new handgun – the barrel.
