(The Center Square) - Sen. Tommy Tuberville secured the Republican nomination for Alabama governor Tuesday and will face off against former U.S. Sen. Doug Jones in November. 

The Republican primary election to find a replacement for Tubervillw in the U.S. Senate was too close to call late Tuesday night.
