Joyce Dillard Tew

Joyce Dillard Tew passed, age 88, peacefully January 26th, 2026. She was born in Newark, NJ to Dora Hammond Dillard and James Clyde Dillard. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister Janice M. Baker. She leaves 2 daughters Deborah(Boog) Headley, Melanie (Micheal) O’Shea and Steve Tew as well as 5 grands, a step granddaughter and many great grands.

Her career took many turns she attended flight school but had to return home to care for her mom, telephone operator, homemaker( during which she worked for the Alabama Baptist Convention part time), Jackson hospital and retiring from the State. She attended Easter Hills Baptist as long as she was able.
