Before anyone misreads this column, I want to make it very clear I believe the City of Alexander City City Council made a great decision in its appointment of Ellen Martin to the Alexander City Schools Board of Education on Monday night. 

Ellen is an educator through and through and will serve the ACBOE in stride.
