Especially during a dark period in life, it can be hard to find the positives.

Sometimes it can feel like grief or depression has overtaken us, and it’s hard to even get up in the morning. What’s interesting about depression, anxiety and even just stress is they turn everything on its head. Things that used to get us excited can oftentimes seem like a chore. We don’t get enough sleep, so we don’t want to get out of bed. We spend time reviewing what’s difficult about our lives, and the vicious cycle continues.
