Alexander City and the surrounding areas seem to be one big work zone these days.

There’s the seemingly never-ending work on Highway 63. Plus, now Highway 280 is being paved near Jackson’s Gap and Dadeville, and Dadeville Road is under construction for the incoming Love’s Truck Stop. And there’s upcoming work scheduled for the intersection at Highways 280 and 22 as well.
