The Fourth of July has always held a special place in my heart.

When I was a little kid, we used to head up to my grandmother’s house in Maryland to watch the fireworks. We always brought along a little jar to catch fireflies on the walk to the big show. We had sparklers and hamburgers and hotdogs. All the usual traditions.
