I held off from writing about the semifinal round of the College Football Playoffs, mostly because the Indiana-Oregon game did not fit within the parameters for our deadline here at The Outlook. But, even while loosely looking at the score during the Benjamin Russell versus Elmore County basketball game, it seems I did not miss much.

I’ve always been a big believer that lightning doesn’t strike twice during a football season. I know there is always some initial shock in the first matchup, and not always the best team wins the first game. That’s not to say I did not think Indiana was not going to win the game, I just expected things to be a tad bit better.
