Last Saturday was great by all means with the return of college football. Considering the late nights we spend constructing Sports Extra to get it out by Saturday’s Outlook, waking up to the 11 a.m. kickoff slate is pretty nice if you ask me.

However, after the opening week of the season and along with some of the teams who lost their matchups — there has been an interesting discourse through the college football sphere. Just scrolling through social media, everyone seems to think it's the end of the world if you’ve lost your season opener.
