After an appearance in the AHSAA Class 5A Regional tournament last season, the Elmore County Panthers are looking to recreate that success this softball season. The Panthers are coached by Meghan Harris, a second-year coach with Elmore County. Last season ECHS graduated three seniors in Brooklynn Berry, Addy Peaden and Kayden Edwards, plus pitcher Lalah Culpepper who transferred.
This season they return senior centerfielder Addison Hicks, senior second baseman Raevyn Barris, junior shortstop Addie Patterson, sophomore third baseman Chloe Hull, junior pitcher Jaycee Alexander, senior right fielder Cherish Foye, junior left fielder Abigail Holt, junior pitcher Bailey Kennedy, freshman catcher Baileigh Ames and junior pitcher Addi Stephenson. Harris has also added sophomore outfielder Madison Willis.
