The Edgewood Academy Wildcats, a team full of experience with solid depth, finished first in AISA Class A Region 1, granting them a bid for another state title via the Elite Eight. Tonight, the Wildcats proved they have the potential to return to the dominance of previous years. 

Edgewood defeated North River Christian by a solid margin, 63-40, at Garrett Coliseum.
