Ana Sofia Meyer / TPI Edgewood Academy's Brock Whitt (5) drives the baseline in AISA's Class A Final Four. Whitt had 10 points, five rebounds and two assists as well as a game-winning 3-pointer to put the Wildcats back in the championship after a two-year drought.

After missing the it last season, the Edgewood Academy Wildcats are heading back to the AISA Class A championship. 

The Wildcats defeated Escambia Academy on Thursday night, 47-45, with senior forward Brock Whitt hitting a 3-pointer in the final seconds of the game to put Edgewood back into the championship game.Â
