Dalton Middleton / TPI Elmore County's Delaney Hines (4) tries to keep the ball away from Marbury. Hines and the Panthers lost 3-2 in the first round of the playoffs.

After its deepest playoff run in the history of the program last season, Elmore County’s girls soccer team is back on the pitch this season and it is already off to a stellar start. The Panthers have claimed their area every year since 2022, and this year’s team is determined to keep the streak alive.

With all starters, minus senior goalkeeper Ansley Caudle, back on the ball this season, the Panthers are poised to make another run and they plan to have fun doing it.
