Regardless of whether it goes your way in the end, hard work is always worthwhile. Even if it doesn’t pay off in the short term, hard work will always bear fruit in the long run. 

Holtville’s girls soccer team underwent the most important week of its season last week, facing Class 6A Area 6 rivals Elmore County and Brewbaker Tech. The Bulldogs worked extremely hard throughout the season, facing injuries and adversities and playing in every type of weather imagineable. Through it all, it didn’t go Holtville’s way.

Ana Sofia Meyer / TPI Holtville girls soccer played its final games of the season last week, facing off against Elmore County and Brewbaker Tech to wrap up area play. The Bulldogs fell short of making the playoffs this season, finishing the year with a 6-9-2 overall record, 0-4 area record.
