Tallassee softball is a historically dominant program, and for the last nine years that has continued under coach Pat Love. Last week Love confirmed that he would be stepping down from his post as softball coach, marking the end of an era for Tallassee softball.Â
The program will be taken over by Love’s daughter, Tallassee softball alumna Lexi Stevenson. Stevenson graduated from Tallassee in 2021 before continuing her softball career at Auburn University-Montgomery.Â
