Respect is something that everyone should value highly. Just like in a court of law, respect is something granted upon first impression and earned in every following interaction; innocent until proven guilty, respected until proven unworthy.

This past week I had more than one person whom I previously trusted show me their true colors. I can’t lie, it was really hard for me. But my mama has always told me that when someone tells you who they are, you believe them.
