Tallassee basketball starts new chapter on new court

Over the course of the last few seasons, Tallassee’s boys basketball program has been in flux. With three head coaches arriving and departing in two seasons, change has been the norm. Tallassee has not seen the playoffs since 2023, but the Tigers are turning the page ahead of the 2026-27 season. 

A new chapter comes with a new coach and a whole new mindset. This offseason Tallassee athletic director Eric Folmar brought Justin Ellis back to bring stability back to the program. Ellis, an alumni and former assistant coach under Keiven Mixon, is returning as the head coach.
