After last season’s run to the regional tournament, Tallassee’s softball team is honed in on building back up to that kind of success.Â
The Tigers finished second in Class 4A Area 5 last season with a 5-2 record and an 18-18 overall record. They punched their ticket to the regional tournament, coming out strong with a come-back win against Oak Grove in nine innings, 9-8, then followed up against West Blocton where it fell, 14-1. Tallassee played its last game of the season against Handley, falling 4-3.Â
