Wetumpka volleyball is entering a new era this season, and things are already looking up. Wetumpka brought on former Redland Middle School volleyball coach Jayson Hall during the offseason, bringing plenty of coaching experience along with him.

Ana Sofia Meyer / TPI Wetumpka volleyball attended a play date at Elmore County High School on Thursday, facing rivals Stanhope Elmore as well as future area opponent Benjamin Russell.

Under Hall, the Indians are already showing improvements at a crucial point in the season. The Indians attended a summer play date at Elmore County High School on Thursday for its varsity and junior varsity teams. Each team had the opportunity to play four games against each of the other teams in attendance including Benjamin Russell, Chilton County, Elmore County, Wetumpka.
