The Dadeville City Council approved an abatement process to begin at 257 Hatcher St. during Tuesday’s council meeting. 

Building inspector Peter Golden said the property is in violation of four city ordinances and will allow him to send more letters to start the official documentation of the process. In a photo Golden took of the property approximately an hour before the meeting, he said there is no home on the property, but there is a vehicle, overgrown vegetation and other belongings.
