2 Millbrook students receive scholarships from Alfa

Hayden Anderson and Aubrey Newton, of Millbrook, were recently selected as two of 100 recipients of the 2026-27 Alfa Foundation Scholarship Program. Anderson, a freshman at Gadsden State Community College, received $1,000 to use toward tuition, fees, books or supplies.  Newton, a freshman at Huntingdon College, received $1,000 to use toward tuition, fees, books or supplies.  

Since 2014, the Alfa Foundation has awarded $1.25 million to deserving students through its scholarship program, which is administered by Kaleidoscope. This year’s recipients hail from 44 counties and will attend 27 academic institutions.
