An unremorseful James Brunson stood quietly but defiantly before Judge Patrick Pinkston in Wetumpka Tuesday morning. Sentencing was the final step after two trials surrounding the rape and sex abuse of a 13-year-old.
Even after a jury of his peers found Brunson, 32, of Montgomery, guilty of first-degree rape and two counts of second-degree sex abuse, the convicted rapist denied any wrongdoing.
