Today’s high school students have an opportunity to be tomorrow’s diesel mechanics.

There are job opportunities to help maintain farm equipment, timber machinery, large earth moving equipment and tractor trailers. Friday the Wetumpka Area Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting at the new diesel mechanics lab at the Elmore County Technical Center to aid in supplying the thousands of diesel technicians over the next decade.
