Grove Station officially opened in Wetumpka last week, but it shares many connections with Wetumpka and Tallassee.

Grove Station owner Corrie Sid first opened the bistro and bakery in Tallassee. Sid then purchased Wetumpka’s Our Place from Tallassee natives David and Mona Funderburk. David Funderbunk helped run Hotel Talisi back in the day. Sid is also a Tallassee native, as is Wetumpka Mayor Jerry Willis.
