Better patient care is the goal for Ivy Creek Healthcare after receiving more than $2.19 million in grant funding from the Alabama Rural Health Transformation Program.

For patients at Elmore Community Hospital and its clinics under the Ivy Creek umbrella, the funding will allow better diagnostic imaging capabilities; emergency telepsychiatry and telemedicine services; an in-house microbiology laboratory; non-emergency medical transportation and upgrading electronic health record and cybersecurity systems.
