Ozark native David Matthews is hoping his experience in both of Donald Trump’s administrations and conservative values will get him the Republican nod for U.S. Congress District 2 in Alabama.

The Trump administration appointed Matthews to serve in the USDA both times, most recently as director of state operations for rural development. In Trump’s first administration, Matthews was in the farm service agency. He believes his experience in the USDA would prove valuable in Congress
