Millbrook remembers fallen heroes

Dozens of local officials gathered in Millbrook Friday to honor members of the military who didn’t come home alive.

“We gathered here today to remember and to honor our fallen service members from past and present wars, and to remember the sacrifices that they have made, not only on behalf of our great nations,” retired Army 1st Sgt. Bill Roberts said. “We are here also on behalf of all of our communities, our families and our friends across America, so that we may continue to live and enjoy the freedoms and our way of life.”
