Cliff Williams / TPI The clarinets of the Maroon Machine participate in the woodwind rehearsals during band camp last week. The students are installing this year’s half time and competition show.

Dallas Hammond has been leading the Elmore County High School Maroon Machine Marching Band for three years. It’s a program she was a part of as a high school student and returned two summers ago to lead as director of bands. 

With her feet wet, now Hammond has two seasons under her belt.
