Cliff Williams / TPI Officials gather last week to cut the ribbon on the new Elmore County Law Enforcement and Judicial Administration Building. It will allow the renovation of the judicial complex to create more courtrooms for added judges.

The new Elmore County Law Enforcement and Judicial Administrative Building is now open in Wetumpka.

The new 27,000 square foot building provides a new space for the Elmore County Sheriff’s Office and the Elmore County Circuit Clerk’s Office. The public can now more easily access the sheriff’s office for things such as pistol permits. The new clerk’s office will make it easier for the public.
