On Wednesday Jimmy Allen Monk, a 60-year-old resident of Elmore County and former PrimeSouth Bank president, was sentenced to 12 months and one day in prison after pleading guilty to bank fraud.

Following his prison sentence, he will serve two years of supervised release. There is no parole in the federal system.
