A Wetumpka information technology company made its annual holiday donation to an Elmore County nursing home facility, however this year its gift to the company’s usual Christmas charity of choice was different.
ITS donated a television to the Homestead Unit of Merry Wood Lodge in Elmore earlier this month.

The National Weather Service in Birmingham has issued a Fire
Weather Watch for Central Alabama, which is in effect from
Saturday morning through Saturday evening.
* WINDS...Northeast 10 to 15 mph with gusts up to 30 mph.
* RELATIVE HUMIDITY...As low as 19 percent.
* IMPACTS...The combination of a dry air mass and windy
conditions will result in critical fire weather conditions.
Outdoor burning is not recommended.
