At a special-called meeting Thursday, the Eclectic Town Council held the first of at least two public meetings to discuss rezoning property for a proposed housing project.

Mayor Gary Davenport presented the proposed rezoning and plat for the development that calls for up to 120 homes, possibly multifamily homes, and a retail building.
