Two DOC employees arrested for using position for personal gain

Alabama Department of Corrections (ADOC) employees are still being accused of smuggling contraband into state prisons.

Two Elmore Correctional Facility employees were arrested Tuesday on charges of using their position for personal gain. Bunion Earl Thomas, 24, and Eli Charlie Deramus, 32, both of Montgomery were booked into the Elmore County Jail.
