A Wetumpka man died Thursday night as a result of a two-vehicle accident just outside the Wetumpka City limits on U.S. Highway 231.

James Wright III, 37, was pronounced dead at the scene after the 2001 Dodge pickup he was driving collided with a 2011 Ford F-150 pickup. The Dodge overturned and Wright, who was not wearing a seat belt, was ejected from the truck.
