It is a lot easier to quantify a player’s impact using their on-the-court numbers; it is never as easy to quantify the impact a player has on their team’s morale – how that player motivates the team, helps them come together and settle into a groove that has them winning games.
Even as a new player for Wetumpka, Queen Ballard has stepped up in every conceivable way. The Indians have rallied around her, seeing her as the team’s big sister, their No. 1 cheerleader whether she’s on the court or on the bench and the one that can snap them out of a rut and back into focus.

For the Cold Weather Advisory, from 6 PM Sunday to 7 AM CST Monday.
* IMPACTS...Frostbite and hypothermia will occur if unprotected skin
is exposed to these temperatures. An extended period of
subfreezing temperatures could cause pipes to burst. Low
visibility could make driving conditions hazardous.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Use caution while traveling outside. Wear appropriate clothing, a
hat, and gloves.
Keep pets indoors as much as possible.
Make frequent checks on older family, friends, and neighbors. Ensure
portable heaters are used correctly. Do not use generators or grills
inside.
