The win closes out the regional season, leaving the Panthers with two weeks to prepare for another trip to Demopolis to face a frequent playoff rival. Against Sylacauga, Elmore County outgained the Aggies 355 yards to 258. 

“We had a tremendous gameplan tonight,” ECHS coach Kyle Caldwell said. “They took advantage of us early and kept keeping it close, but in the second half, our guys just flew around the ball. Defense played their tails off to hold them scoreless, to a team that’s averaging 30-something a game.”
