Holtville’s quarterback Jacob Burgess (10) leads the Bulldogs into a non-region battle at Maplesville this week.
The Holtville Bulldogs are back on the gridiron after a bye last week, taking on the Maplesville Red Devils.Â
Maplesville is 5-0 this season and 3-0 in AHSAA Class 1A Region 4, having beaten its last three opponents in landslide, shutout victories. Despite being a much smaller school than Holtville, Maplesville’s defense should challenge the Bulldogs offense to get things going early in the game.Â
