Edgewood Academy junior Alex Hamby joined the roster this summer, taking over the mantle of quarterback. He threw for 118 yards and five touchdowns.

After a 3-6 season last year, the Edgewood Academy Wildcats have found a way to turn things around. That has come, in large part, because of the addition of new players to the roster that have given a new life to this team, leading the way to a playoff berth. 

One of those key players is junior quarterback Alex Hamby, a transfer from Marbury and the Elmore County Player of the Week.
