The Edgewood Wildcats rode the shoulders of its defense and quarterback Brock Whitt to a homecoming victory.

It’s a game that will be etched in the memory of Wildcats for years to come. In overtime it appeared the visiting Cougars were stopping Whitt. As the defense was standing him up, the quarterback was looking and found an open Landon Smith to his left. Whitt pushed the ball over the Cougar defense to his teammate Landon Smith who was crashing to the ball along the goal line. The junior receiver pushed across the line for the Wildcat win.
