State celebrates extension week

This spring, the Elmore County Extension Office is inviting the public to engage with its employees during Alabama Extension Week, which runs April 12 to 18. 

“When you walk in our office, you may be surprised at just how much knowledge you can gain,” Elmore County Extension director Katrina Mitchell said in a press release. “When you have a question about farming, gardening, running a business, signing your child up for Alabama 4-H or providing healthy choices for your family, just remember that Extension does all that and more. Our experts can help you answer those questions. Plus, our publications and programs can help build upon your knowledge.”
