Every sixth-grade student from Elmore County and Tallassee City schools took part in the 11th annual water festival held at the Alabama Nature Center in Millbrook last month.

The program is designed to encourage discussions about the water cycle and the importance of clean water including personal responsibility for water resources in a fun and engaging atmosphere.
