Thousands attend City of Wetumpka’s Coosa River Candy Crawl

The Wetumpka Sports Complex was invaded Monday night by ghosts, gremlins, witches, clowns and superheroes. The invaders were after candy at the annual Coosa Candy Crawl that moved to the complex last year from downtown Wetumpka. The event has attracted thousands of costume clad children, teenagers and adults seeking to have fun in a safe environment while collecting candy along the way.
